Pokhara An Introduction
Pokhara, a beautiful valley, lies to the western part of Nepal. And is 200 km drive and 30 min flight from Kathmandu. It gives you very scenic and panoramic views of the Himalayas. The Enormous range of Annapurna, the pyramid shaped Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the boasting Dhaulagiri add more attractive to the valley.There are three lakes which are: Fewa (the main lake), Begnas and Rupa: 60m deep gorges from where the milky white water flows: the ancient Mahendra-Cave and the breath-taking water-fall which is known and David's Fall.They all help to decorate the Valley.
